The Palos Heights Car Classic will be rolling into town on July 19, 2012.
Starting at 5pm, hundreds of classic cars will be lined up and down Harlem Avenue, starting at 123rd and Harlem down through 125th.
Tickets to win a 1976 Corvette or $15,000 cash are sold at City Hall and Tastee Freez. Tickets are $20.00 or 6 for $100. Free Event Admission!

The Children’s Farm located at 1700 Southwest Highway in Palos Park. The farm will be open every Saturday and Sunday, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. until November.
Visitors to the farm can tour the barns and see the farm animals. New piglets, lambs, bunnies, chicks and ducklings are due to arrive before Easter. Complimentary pony rides and hayrides are offered every weekend throughout the spring and summer, weather and work permitting.
Admission is $5 per person or $75 for a season family pass. No reservations are required on the weekends.

McCord Housewalk, “A Walk in the Park”

“Destinations” will be the theme of the exhibit and the theme of the day. Begin at the McCord House and then continue on to unique local destinations where you will enjoy the architecture and interiors of several lovely homes.

Chamber Members and Residents! Do you have clients, patrons or relatives who needed assistance getting around town? The Municipal Vehicle Program is available and provided by The City of Palos Heights and Trinity Christian College. Rides from home to a business, the library, village apartments, recreation center and more are available Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 10am-6pm. Riders can only call to schedule a ride from 8:30 a.m to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to Noon on Saturday.
