On behalf of the City of Palos Heights, I would like to introduce some of our new Community Development programs that can help your business, as well as remind you of our existing programs. Remember, all of these programs are FREE so please take advantage of them and spread the word with other business owners!

NEW:

• Shop Palos Summer Program: This is to help encourage residents to shop local. For every 5 original receipts for Palos Heights businesses they patronize they receive a free multi-visit pool pass for the City’s pool. It starts May 1^st so please post the attached flyer and help promote the program that would be great! For more details… http://www.palosheights.org/business/shop.asp
• E-news Advertising: Last summer the City started sending out a monthly e-newsletter to promote City events and news. We most recently expanded our e-news so that recipients can elect to receive more frequent emails about community events and business promotions. If you would like to promote an event, sale, coupon or just send a friendly reminder about what your business offers, please contact me to arrange an email blast.
• Promote to Trinity Students: Our Business/Economic Advisory Committee has partnered with Trinity Christian College with an effort to promote local businesses to the student community. If at any time you want to provide a special deal for Trinity students, please contact me to arrange with Trinity. Also, we will be hosting a ‘Hospitality Tent’ at the freshman move-in day this August, and we are offering you the opportunity to promote your business at this event. You may attend the event with us or provide us with materials to hand out on your behalf, either way it’s free promoting so take advantage!

EXISTING:

• Sign Grant: Similar to the Façade Program, we will reimburse 50% of the cost (capped at $2,500) to upgrade your old wall signage. For more details…  http://www.palosheights.org/business/Incentives.asp

• Meet the Merchant: Whether or not you have participated in the past, the Meet the Merchant program with Channel 4 is always available to our businesses. Please contact Ron Jankowski, 708-480-3007, for more information or to arrange a show.
