Become a part of this Palos Park Thanksgiving day tradition! Entry fee is $55.00+ 2 canned goods. All entrants get a half zip long sleeve gender specific heat top (pink for women and grey for men). Also included in the goody bag is a pair of Feetures socks and a bag of Chomps. We will be using the D-tag timing system. The event is limited to the first 1300. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION! So please enter early. Proceeds, which include two canned goods from every entrant, go to stock the Worth Food Pantry. Last year 12,000 cans of food and $2,000 were donated. Stay for the post race party (it’s big), including the raffle for shoes and lots of clothing.
You can pick up your race packet and jacket at Running for Kicks (7158 W. 127TH St.) on November 19th, 20th, or 21st. Race day packet pickup will be at the Palos Park recreation center, 8901 W. 123rd St., starting at 6:30am. Be sure to bring in your two canned goods as well. There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
Parking will be available at the Palos Park Metra parking lot at 123rd & 82nd Av. Shuttle buses will leave every ten minutes to take runners to the start. After the race, buses will take runners back to the train station.
